The Hofler Helix 400 is a precision single flank gear grinder with
a capacity to grind parallel axis gears up to a
15.75" (400mm) pitch diameter and a diametral pitch of 2.5 at AGMA Class
15 tolerances. The advanced controller allows unlimited
profile and lead modifications including a "free profile" programming
option that is capable of virtually any geometry
....even asymmetrical teeth.
Our machine is equipped with an on-board measuring system for automatic inspection of involute, lead and pitch providing instant feedback to the machine controller for necessary adjustments.
